CNN Interviews Woman In Labor For Royal Baby Coverage (VIDEO)

WATCH: CNN Actually Went There

CNN took coverage of the royal baby to a whole new level on Monday when one of its correspondents interviewed a woman who was in labor.

Some journalists went stir-crazy waiting for Kate Middleton to go into labor. She gave birth to a baby boy on Monday. While waiting for the big announcement though, CNN did a segment about giving birth in the UK.

CNN's Elizabeth Cohen reported on the differences between birthing in the U.S. and in Britain, saying that hospitals in the U.K. discourage the use of epidurals in favor of "normal births."

Then, she proceeded to interview a woman who was getting laughing gas while in labor in the delivery room. "So nothing's funny right now?" Cohen asked.

"No, nothing's funny," the woman responded.
