CORRECTION: The video above is not in fact Cory's last recorded video before his passing but rather a video shot a year prior.
PREVIOUSLY: As hearts break around the world and Gleeks and fans alike take to social media to mourn the loss of Cory Monteith, one video has surfaced that is believed to be the actor's last.
According to the Tumblr blog that surfaced the video, Little Glee Princess, a flight attendant on an Air Canada flight from Japan to Vancouver approached Monteith and asked him to say a few words to her boyfriend’s daughter, Mallory. "The flight attendant said he was very friendly and chatty and gladly let her take the video," notes the blog.
In the short video, possibly taken on Instagram, Monteith says, "Mallory, hey, I'm Cory, I'm Sheila's friend. I wanted to record this video for you guys just to let you know to stay out of trouble and stay in school."
Monteith was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver last weekend due to a mixed-drug toxicity involving heroin and alcohol, according to the British Columbia Coroners Service. He was 31 years old.
