'Drunk History' Tackles Chicago History On Comedy Central Series' Third Episode (VIDEO)

'Drunk History' Tackles Lincoln, Capone And The Haymarket Riot

Chicago history on Tuesday night got the "Drunk History" treatment and the results were just as hangover-inducing as expected.

The Comedy Central series, based on the popular Funny or Die web series created by Derek Waters and Jeremy Konner, turned the spotlight on three specific moments from the Windy City's history in its second episode: two of them well known (Al Capone being a "syphilitic moron" and the police confrontation with protestors during the Haymarket Riot) and one a little less so: an "awkward ape armed" Abraham Lincoln's humiliation while working on the McCormick-Manny case.

As Chicagoist explains, essentially the show challenges the history "teachers" to read up on their given topic, then proceed to drink heavily and see what happens when they attempt to impart their lesson.

The episode guest stars Ike Barinholtz (of "The Mindy Project"), Joe Lo Truglio ("The State") and Upright Citizens Brigade co-founder Matt Besser.

"Drunk History" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. CST on Comedy Central.
