Darrell Reynolds, Allegedly Made Gun Gestures At Texas Movie Theater

Moviegoer Arrested For Allegedly Making Gun Gestures

A moviegoer was hauled off to jail after he allegedly terrified patrons at a Bryan, Tex., theater.

Darrell Reynolds, 54, was arrested on suspicion of making gun gestures and shooting sounds during a screening of "World War Z" Friday night, according to KBTX.

"It was dark and nobody could really tell especially if you were in the back and you just see a guy going 'choo choo choo,’" witness Caroline Morales told the station. “The rumor quickly spread that it was a gun and everyone is rushing to the exit quickly. We couldn't have got out if we wanted to."

The Houston Chronicle reports that Reynolds was arrested in the theater's lobby and charged with disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

Reynolds also has two public intoxication arrests on his record since April, according to the Chronicle.

Reynolds' most recent arrest comes nearly one year after a deadly shooting at an Aurora, Colo., theater in which 12 were killed and 70 were injured.
