An Office In An Attic, Designed By Polish Architecture Firm PL.architekci, Reinvents A Forgotten Space (PHOTOS)

It took plenty of imagination to see the potential in this space.

An office in an attic doesn't immediately conjure up a stylish mental image, but one Polish architecture firm was able to see the potential in this formerly forgotten space. The result is an open, airy and welcoming environment for creativity.

According to Dezeen, the studio, which is located in historic Poznań, Poland, "provides PL.architekci with a two-story workplace." Overall, we see it as more "blank slate." Aside from unvarnished wooden beams and exposed brick cutting through white walls, there's nothing to compete with the wonderful light in this space. (Even the staircase can be moved around, so it doesn't impede sunlight.)

It seems as though the designers felt the same way. In a statement to Dezeen: "We introduced 17 windows to provide the previously dark attic with a world of natural light and view of the [neighbourhood] beyond the rooftops."
