Jimmy Eat World Covers Taylor Swift's 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' (VIDEO)

Taylor Swift Hit Gets Update From Rock Favorites

One of the greatest parts of attending any concert comes in seeing what surprising covers might adorn the performer's setlist. Take Jimmy Eat World. It's doubtful fans in attendance at the band's Tuesday night show at Cleveland's House of Blues expected to hear Jimmy Eat World rip through Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

But look a little closer and you may find that the move isn't so surprising after all. Lead singer Jim Adkins has already revealed his affinity for Top-40 covers, having recently performed an acoustic solo version of Rihanna's "Only Girl (In the World)." It's not even the first time Adkins' and Swift's paths have merged -- the Jimmy Eat World frontman joined Swift onstage during a 2011 concert in Arizona to perform the band's popular song "The Middle." Adkins also performed a cover of Swift's "Love Story" alongside a young girl with cancer earlier this year at a benefit concert.

Watch the clip above to catch the Jimmy Eat World boys adding their standard emo-rock tendencies to Swift's No. 1 hit song, and check out these other pop redos from the band below.
