New York City has gone ga-ga for cronuts. Not only is the line for the cult pastry obnoxiously long even in the wee hours of the morning, but people are apparently willing to shell out some serious dough to get a bite of the decadent treat. One man even postponed a marriage proposal because of a "cronut shortage."
The cronuts craze has reached such a fever pitch that people are evidently seeking to swap sex for baker Dominique Ansel's croissant-donut hybrid. Yes, you heard right. Sex.

As New York Magazine pointed out Tuesday, a man has put up a Craigslist ad offering the $5 sweet treats in return for sexual favors. "Seeking cronut slut," the ad description reads.
"Considering the mayhem of the last two months," reasoned Refinery29's Kelsey Miller after reading the man's Craigslist offer, "we bet he even got some responses."
On Wednesday afternoon, Craigslist was full of cronut-related posts, though most of them involved the pickup and delivery of the elusive confections. "We will deliver cronuts to you anywhere in Manhattan in the morning," wrote one entrepreneurial Craigslister. "$80 per cronut. We provide professional line waiters to save you time and get you your much deserved cronut."
