Orlando Bloom's 'Hobbit' Farewell: Peter Jackson Posts Goofy Video of Actor Bidding Middle-Earth Adios

Bidding Middle-Earth Farewell

Middle-earth is bidding farewell to its residents, with Orlando Bloom being the latest to go. As the final two entries in "The Hobbit" series complete post-production, Peter Jackson and crew are once again dismantling their operations -- but not before catching Bloom's parting moments on camera.

Jackson posted a video of Bloom's final night on set to his Facebook page. The goofy clip finds the actor, who portrayed Legolas in "Lord of the Rings" and the "Hobbit" trilogy, singing along to the "They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard" viral video that surfaced in 2007 and has since racked up nearly 2.2 million views.

Jackson posted the following note to accompany the video:

A day after saying goodbye to Gandalf and Tauriel, it was time to farewell Legolas. What a great day it was, with Orlando battling a serious Orc for all 12 hours of shooting - part of the Battle of the 5 Armies for the third Hobbit movie.

When we finally got the day done, we said goodbye to Orlando, had a couple of beers ... and couldn't resist doing this!
