'Devious Maids': Susan Lucci Heads To Primetime (VIDEO)

The Return Of Susan Lucci

"Devious Maids" has brought Susan Lucci to primetime. The daytime diva spent more than 30 years playing Erica Kane on "All My Children," but now she's bringing the drama -- well, dramedy -- to "Devious Maids," Lifetime's newest nighttime soap.

The series from "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry and former star Eva Longoria follows a group of Latina maids working for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Lucci plays Genevieve Delatour, a wealthy divorcee socialite. In the premiere of "Devious Maids," Genvieve had a little breakdown when her pool boy left her. Luckily, her maid Zoila ("Scurbs" star Judy Reyes) was there with her constant support.

"He said I looked like I was 40," Genvieve cried.

"Well, that’s not bad since you’re almost 60," Zoila said.

"Devious Maids" airs Sundays, 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
