'Graceland': Agent Gets Booted From House After Screw Up

After an impressive fakeout last week on "Graceland" -- Briggs didn't now Mike was investigating him after all -- the house still lost one of its own this week. Lauren went off the rails in her determination to take down the mobster who was gunning for her former partner.

She took things too far, blowing her cover and then lying to Briggs and endangering the other people in the house. The last straw was when a tracking device was found on her car. This would have led the mob right to the doors of Graceland, ruining the undercover work of every agent in the house.

Or at least it would have if the mob had planted it as everyone assumed. When Lauren came to Briggs to ask him to fight for her, he refused. "You lied to me. I don’t go to bat for liars, Lauren," he told her. "You put this whole house in harms way, and you know what the worst part is? You used me.”

And so Briggs returned the favor, planting the tracking device himself underneath her car. He wanted to ensure that she got transferred out of the house to protect everyone there. "Whether Briggs did the right thing or not, that's certainly up for debate," said Buddy TV of his deceit. "What's not is his unwavering devotion to protecting his cover, his housemates, and their livelihood at Graceland. Lauren's gone and Briggs made sure it stuck.”

TV Fanatic said they learned two important things with this episode: "1) Briggs is capable of ruthlessness when it comes to protecting Graceland. 2) Don’t cross Briggs in his attempts to do so.”

Figuring him out isn't going to be an easy assignment for Mike on "Graceland," Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on USA.
