Jimmy Eat World's 'Only Girl (In The World)' Cover Transforms Rihanna's Hit (VIDEO)

Watch Jimmy Eat World's Bizarre Rihanna Cover

Jimmy Eat World stopped by NME's offices (lucky ducks) to chat about their upcoming set at the Download Festival and play some tunes. One of the songs they chose -- for better or probably worse -- was Rihanna's "Only Girl (In the World)."

Lead singer Jim Adkins avoided Rihanna's epic, soaring vocals and instead opted for a significantly simpler approach. The result is a bit deflating, but we'll leave it to you to judge. Take a look above.

Jimmy Eat World's new album, "Damage," was released Tuesday and has received generally positive reviews. "Damage" was produced by the band and Alain Johanness, who has worked with the likes of Chris Cornell. It was recorded at Johannes' home studio in Los Angeles.

Rihanna, on the other hand, has been enjoying her Diamonds World Tour, luxuriating at the once home of Coco Chanel hanging out with designers and posting countless selfies on her Instagram.
