Hardcore fans of superhero films voraciously consume every detail they can about the upcoming big-screen adventures of their favorite crusaders. On "The Tonight Show," Jamie Foxx dropped by to talk about tackling the role of Electro in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." He also revealed the voice he used to bring the character to life.
“A world without mercy, a world without power," he said in his Electro voice.
“What’s funny is when I forget my line and I have to go back to my regular voice," he said ,before demonstrating the abrupt shift. "‘A world...' Line please! Can I get some water too, please?’”
He also talked about his style in the movie. His sister does his hair for movies, and he gave her a challenge for this role. He told her he wanted to be the first black man with a comb-over.
Online fans are already excited about the reveal of Electro's voice in the forthcoming film. They have a while to wait to see the character come together, though. "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" doesn't hit theaters until May 2014.
