Thousands of LA's most fabulous residents are converging in West Hollywood this weekend for the 2013 LA PRIDE! celebration. What that means for residents, though, is a tangle of street closures and new parking rules.
To help keep traffic to a minimum, the City of West Hollywood is providing free shuttle services along Santa Monica Boulevard every 8 minutes between Fuller Avenue (Plummer Park) and La Peer Drive (Pavilions supermarket).
- Friday - 6 p.m. - 3 a.m.
The good news for West Hollywood visitors? All permit parking regulations will be lifted from Friday afternoon (4 p.m.) through Monday morning (7 a.m.). The bad news is that all parking meters will still be enforced. So try your hardest to use public transportation to get to West Hollywood this weekend.
Take a look at the street closures on this map to plan your weekend (they're also in bullet points below) and have a fun time at PRIDE! Orange lines indicate closures that last for a weekend or longer, while red lines correspond to Sunday's Pride Parade.
