Women who tie the knot with wealthy men are often labeled "gold diggers," but men are just as guilty of reaping the benefits of their wealthy wives.
Just ask author and "Video Vixen" Karrine Steffans. In an appearance on HuffPost Live Wednesday, Steffans dished on her two "gold-digging" ex-husbands.
"I married two men who did not work or worked very little and made very, very, very little money," she said. "I've always been the breadwinner in both my marriages. I supported both my husbands completely and their families and their children -- they never paid any bills, I took care of them completely ... There are gold-digging men out there and I married two of them."
The author said that marrying men in a lower tax bracket may have been a conscious decision.
"I think I did that in part because I didn't want people to think I was marrying for money. I wanted people to realize I have my own money and I just didn't want the stigma of marrying someone in entertainment or anything like that," she said. "I regret that and next time it won't be that way."
