Daniel (Danny) Schneeweiss and his college friend, Moises (Moy) Guindi founded Milagro Tequila in 1997 in their native Mexico City.
Dear Mexico City,
You are the place I was born, the place I grew up and most likely the place where I will spend the rest of my life. I don't see myself living anywhere else.
I don't know if it's the history, the modernity or, better yet the contrast between them, you are filled with traditions but moving fast into the future.
The architecture, the design, your streets, the parks and the food--oh yes the food--from the best street taco stands in the world, to the classic cantinas and the hip restaurants, you offer it all.
To wander around you makes one feel as though they're travelling back in time, yet into the future all at once.
You inspired me to become the entrepreneur I am today. You inspired me to take all of your history, rich culture, and all of your traditions and take them to the next step. You inspired me to create Milagro Tequila; a reflection of everything that Mexico City is today, where it was before and where it is going.
If I had to describe you in one word, I would say that you are more than anything a city of passion, and passion has been the way I have decided to live my life.
I believe that passion is what really enables us to do anything we dream possible, and you, my beloved Mexico City, have showed me what passion is all about.
