Chief Keef Speeding: Chicago Rapper Arrested After Going 110 MPH In 55 MPH Zone

Chief Keef Arrested AGAIN

Less than a week after the controversial teen rapper was arrested at a suburban Atlanta airport and charged with disorderly conduct and marijuana possession, Chief Keef was back in trouble with the law on Tuesday.

Keef, real name: Keith Cozart, was clocked driving 110 mph in a 55 mph zone on the Edens Expressway in Northfield, Ill., just outside of Chicago, at 3:18 a.m. Monday morning, police told NBC Chicago.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Cozart was cited for both excessive speeding -- a Class A misdemeanor -- and for having an unlawful number of passengers in his 2011 BMW given that he holds a graduated license. He was released after posting a $200 bond and is due to appear in court on June 17.

Prior to the two arrests in the same week, Cozart was arrested in January and spent 60 days in juvenile detention for violating his probation. He was previously convicted of pointing a gun at police in 2011.
