Raw footage from the scene of a train derailment that occurred in Baltimore County. Md., on Tuesday afternoon captured a fiery explosion on video.

The video was uploaded to Facebook at 2:15 p.m. by user Uptown Bev as news of a loud explosion was reported by multiple outlets. Images of the fire and accompanying plume of smoke that followed the train derailment were uploaded to social media shortly after the explosion.

Shortly before 3 p.m., Baltimore County fire officials confirmed that the cause of the fire was a train derailment. Fire officials said the explosion blackened several buildings in the immediate area, and also caused several structures to collapse, according to the Associated Press.

Hazmat teams responded to the scene of the derailment, but no injures were immediately reported, according to WBAL.

CBS Baltimore is reporting that the derailment and explosion were caused when the train hit a tractor trailer. The tractor trailer driver has reportedly been moved to the Maryland Shock Trauma center in what is being described as serious but stable condition.
