These days, our knowledge of celebrities too often originates with paparazzi images and snarky quotes by anonymous "insiders." After a while, it's easy to forget that stars are real people. That's why HuffPost Celebrity decided to launch its all-new #nofilter quick-fire question-and-answer series. Because how well do you know someone until they've shared their guiltiest pleasures?
"Dancing With the Stars" pro Cheryl Burke stopped by HuffPost Live Thursday afternoon to fill us in on her grueling schedule shooting the ABC series' latest season, and her other current projects. While Burke, who recently celebrated her 29th birthday, was in the studio, HuffPost Celebrity took the opportunity to ask her some of our #nofilter questions.
What's your guilty pleasure?
Sleeping a lot. After a season, I go in hiding for a week and I don't leave my room. Is that guilty? And chips -- I'm a salty-type girl. I was just talking about that to my friend the other night, how that is my guilty pleasure.
What shows are always on your DVR?
Everything from "Duck Dynasty," which I love, and that reality show with the Amish people on TLC -- "Breaking Amish." And then I've got the "Housewives" and "Dancing With the Stars." Of course, I watch it. It's, like, my homework. I have to make sure that what I'm doing looks good. I'm very critical of myself. But I always want to improve and try and come up with something new and different, especially after being on the show for so many seasons.
If you could do anything aside from dancing, what would it be?
I would be a tennis player. I went to tennis camp every single summer. If dancing was not my forte, I would be a full-on tennis player.
Which member of the Kardashian family needs to be on "Dancing With the Stars"?
Khloe. Khloe's got to do it. I think she would be amazing. I think she would actually win the whole thing. She looks great, and I think she has natural rhythm and I think she would be amazing.
