Mary J. Blige Hit With $3.4 Million Tax Lien

MJB Lands In More 'Drama'

Similar to the chorus of her hit single, “I'm Goin' Down,” Mary J. Blige’s luck is continuing to go on a downward spiral, as reports have surfaced stating the singer owes millions in taxes.

According to TMZ, the IRS have filed a tax lien against Blige in February claiming the Grammy Award-winner failed to pay $3.4 million in income taxes over the course of three years.

The 42-year-old’s financial security has been in question in recent months due to a string of events including an outstanding $901,769.65 tax lien in the State of New Jersey, and defaulting on a $500,000 loan.
