Kellan Lutz, Sharni Vinson Break Up: 'Twilight' Actor Calls It Quits With Girlfriend

It's over for Kellan Lutz and Sharni Vinson. Us Weekly reports that the "Twilight" star, 28, called it quits with the Australian actress, 29, earlier this month after dating for about a year and a half.

The former couple appeared in better spirits in December, when they were photographed gallivanting and showing very public displays of affection on the beach in Sydney, Australia. In August, Lutz told People magazine that he had matured through his relationship with the "Step Up 3D" actress.

"I've become more mature when it comes to women and relationships," he said. "My M.O. now is to be who I really am and not be fake in order for a girl to like me back ... Sharni's personality and mine very much complement each other, and we connect on every level."
