Evan Peters Talks 'American Horror Story: Coven,' Showing His Butt In Season 3 And More

'It Will Be Much Scarier Than Last Season'

The premiere of "American Horror Story: Coven" is still months away, but Evan Peters -- who played Kit Walker in "American Horror Story: Asylum" and the psychotic Tate Langdon in Season 1 of the FX series -- can't wait for viewers to see the third season.

"I'm excited. I think it's gonna be really scary -- much scarier than last season -- and it's gonna be fun. It's going to be really fun to shoot. I'm recharged and ready to go this round," Peters told Golden Derby during a Google Hangout interview.

Series co-creator Ryan Murphy is staying mum on the details and Peters admitted even he doesn't know much else about "American Horror Story: Coven."

"I just know I'll be working with Taissa [Farmiga] again. Kathy Bates is going to be in this season," he said. "Jessica Lange's back, Sarah Paulson's back and it takes place in New Orleans ... I'm scared, but I'm excited."

Peters had his fair share of torturous scenes in Season 2 of "American Horror Story," but the actor admitted to being most worried about stripping down for the camera again.

"How many butt shots am I gonna have to do this season?" he joked about his "American Horror Story: Coven" fears.

With Season 3 centering on witches and witch hunts, "AHS" fans can't wait to see what Bates will bring to the table ... but the actress doesn't know much more than Peters does.

"I don't know [my character will be like] 'til I've gotten in and walked around in her shoes, but I'm awfully excited," she said in March.

"American Horror Story: Coven" will premiere in October on FX.
