Country star Jason Aldean and his wife, Jessica Ussery, are allegedly separated.
Us Weekly reports that Aldean and Ussery have split seven months after his cheating scandal with Brittany Kerr, a former "American Idol" contestant and Charlotte Bobcats cheerleader.
"There were obvious problems before the bar kiss, but he finally left earlier this year," a source told the magazine.
Although neither Aldean nor Ussery has confirmed a split, a rep for the "Dirt Road Anthem" singer did admit they are having problems and asked for privacy at this time.
"I can confirm that Jason and his wife are having problems, but there is nothing more to share with the press at this time," his rep told People magazine. "It's a private family matter, and we hope everyone will respect that he would like to keep it that way."
In September, Aldean was spotted kissing Kerr in the middle of a crowded bar on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, Calif. The news made headlines and the singer issued a public apology for "embarrassing" his family. He blamed the indiscretion on too much alcohol.
Kerr also apologized to everyone affected by what she did, according to TMZ. "The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part," she said.
Aldean and Ussery are high school sweethearts, E! News notes. They married in 2001 and have two daughters -- Keeley, 10, and Kendyl, 5 -- together. After her husband's slip-up, Ussery publicly stood by her man.
"I think we're fine. I think anytime you go through anything like that—I mean it's tough," the 36-year-old country crooner told "CBS This Morning" in a November interview, with his wife by his side. "We've been together for a long time and through a lot of things together. Those are things that most people get to deal with in private, but we didn't have the luxury of doing that."
