'Veep' Season 2: Julia Louis-Dreyfus Talks Meeting Joe Biden On 'Chelsea Lately' (VIDEO)

When Julia Met Joe

Julia Louis-Dreyfus recently met Vice President Joe Biden, and the "Veep" star was happy to reminisce about the memorable encounter during her visit to "Chelsea Lately" on Thursday.

“He left the room for a second, and one his staff said to me, ‘Go behind his desk, so when he comes back you’ll be sitting behind his desk.’ And he came back and I was sitting there and said, ‘Hey, Joe’ ... He started giving me papers as if he was working for me and doing all these bits," Louis-Dreyfus recalled.

The Emmy-winning actress also said that Biden's staffers introduced themselves to her by naming their counterparts on "Veep," since they all watch the show.

Louis-Dreyfus recently talked to The Huffington Post about what fans can expect from the second season: "The s***'s really going to hit the fan. A lot happens ... Episodes 5-10, I think they're pretty mind-blowing. We went all over the place. It was pretty fun."

"Veep" airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on HBO. "Chelsea Lately" airs weeknights at 11 p.m. ET on E!.
