'Heineken Ignite' Beer Bottle Lights Up (VIDEO)

WATCH: Beer Bottle That Lights Up Coming Soon?

There's already a beer can that turns mountains blue when it gets cold enough, so why not have a beer bottle that lights up when you party?

Heineken unveiled a prototype of its Heineken Ignite at Milan Design Week and released a YouTube video (watch above) on April 10 to show off the bottle's night moves.

The container illuminates when you toast and when you sip, and it can be remotely synchronized with the music playing, say, in a club. The base includes 8 bright LEDs, an 8-bit microprocessor, a motion detector and a wireless network transceiver.

Heineken touts Ignite as its "first interactive beer bottle."

Those eager for Heineken Ignite to light up their happy hour will have to wait, however: "Specific next steps/roll out are being determined within the coming months," a representative wrote in an email to The Huffington Post.
