The Queens of the Stone Age offered up a bold performance at Lollapalooza Brazil and debuted a brand-new song as well. "My God Is the Sun," an aggressive rock track that features the band's new drummer, John Theodore (formerly of the Mars Volta).

Dave Grohl actually replaced the band's previous drummer, Joey Castillo, in recording sessions for the Queens' upcoming album, "... Like Clockwork," but Theodore will play during the group's tour. The record is due out in June on Matador.

NME notes that Saturday's gig was the band's first since 2011. Queens of the Stone Age is fronted by Josh Homme and was formed in 1996 as Gamma Ray.
