Duggar Baby: Josh And Anna Expecting A Boy

Josh And Anna Duggar Expecting A Boy

In a conveniently timed announcement, considering "19 Kids and Counting" returns for its 11th season Tuesday, Anna and Josh Duggar have revealed they are expecting a boy.

We knew the couple were expecting their third baby in June, but now we know their daughter Mackynzie, 3, and son Michael, 21 months, will be greeted by a new brother, according to People magazine.

"We didn't know the results," Josh, 25, told People. "But we gave them [from the doctor] to the sound guy, Jim, and he planned out this very unique reveal. It caught us off-guard in a time and place we least expected."

Audiences will get to see the couple make the big reveal on the season premiere.

"I am so thankful for our children," Anna, 24, told People. "It is not about having a bunch of babies. It is about enjoying each child God has given you and focus on every day that you get with your child."

Josh is the eldest of the 19 Duggar children, all of whom have been part of the spotlight since the show, originally called "17 Kids and Counting," debuted in 2008.

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, the parents of the large Arkansas family, announced in November 2011 that they were expecting their 20th child. A month later, they revealed Michelle had miscarried. That may not stop the couple from continuing to try for more children, as Michelle reportedly told Radar Online last month that, even at 46, she is still looking to find out whether "God saw fit for us to receive another child." They've mentioned the possibility of adopting, saying they are "praying about it."
