$338 Million Powerball Ticket Sold In New Jersey (VIDEO) (CORRECTION)

The $338 million Powerball jackpot has a winner.

CORRECTION: Contrary to earlier reports, the winning ticket was purchased at Eagle Liquors in Passaic, N.J. State lottery officials said Monday morning that the winner has not yet come forward.

Carole Hedinger, executive director of the New Jersey Lottery, spoke to ABC about a previous claim that a gas station in Bordentown sold the ticket. "[S]omebody may have called the place in Bordentown and talked about claiming a ticket and perhaps somebody jumped to a conclusion," she said.

Isaiah DeVries, manager of Love's Travel Stops & Country Store in Bordentown, N.J., claimed he received a call Sunday night from a truck driver who claimed to have won the $338 million Powerball prize, according to ABC News.

"Upon listening to his voice he did sound happy, kind of like a relief like he wouldn't have to work as hard and nice to hear that for someone," DeVries told ABC. "I'm sure if I were to see his face I would recognize him. He claimed to be a usual here in the store."

"He's pretty ecstatic," DeVries told NBC Philadelphia's WCAU of the lucky $338 million winner. "He said that he bought the ticket from us, came in and checked the numbers and sure enough he won it. He called me up, excited as all hell. It's kind of exciting to see a person win the ticket."

Only one winning ticket was reportedly sold for the jackpot. A lump-sum payment would total around $221 million.

The winning Powerball numbers are: 17-29-31-52-53, with the Powerball, 31.

The drawing took place Saturday night. This is the fourth biggest jackpot in Powerball history, according to NBC News.

New Jersey Powerball officials will hold a press conference at the Lawrenceville headquarters on Monday at 10 a.m. to offer more details about the winning ticket, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. It is unclear if the winner's identity will be revealed at this time.

"It's a big one, I can tell you that," Powerball spokeswoman Judy Drucker told the Inquirer. "It's very exciting for the lottery, and for the state."
