Celebrities: They're just like us... and sometimes grosser.

Jessica Alba decided to get candid with Harper's Bazaar's Laura Brown in the mag's latest installment of The Look. Perhaps inspired by her new book, The Honest Life, Alba tells Brown that one of her signature fashion statements serves a dual, unsavory purpose:

Laura: "In your 'pictures' around and about the town, you are so good at scarves. Are you part French?"

Jessica: "I think they're a necessity in my life because I do have children and they do either spill on me, puke on me, and I have been pooed on. So in order to cover that up, you need something to cover it up.

Laura: "You just took all the glamour out of the scarves for me."

Truth. But we've got to cut the busy mom some slack: Launching a new book, posing for magazine covers, attending fashion week and raising two kids can't be easy... or clean. Fellow celeb mom Jillian Michaels recently admitted, "There isn't a day that I don't get projectile vomited on."

Even stars aren't immune from baby throw-up. The main difference is they have chic designer scarves to cover it up.
