Ultra Traffic: Road Closures, Detours, And How To Get Around Ultra Music Festival 2013

How To Survive Ultrageddon On The Roads

(Miamians are used to such percentages, right?)

Instead, we're talking about traffic. The behemoth rave's sprawling footprint in Bayfront Park is redirecting drivers Downtown, and it'll do so for three days each over the next two weekends. Our best advice is avoid east Downtown until Ultra's over, but if you don't have a choice, fortunately, the changes are pretty simple:

* All southbound traffic along Biscayne Boulevard will be detoured at NE 4 Street, west to NE 2 Avenue and continue southbound from there.

* All northbound traffic along Biscayne Boulevard will be reduced to two lanes and shifted to the southbound lanes at SE 1 Street. It will continue northbound until NE 4 Street, where it will be shifted back to the regular northbound lanes.

Despite an accident Thursday night in which a massive LED screen crashed onto workers on Ultra's main stage, injuring three, the festival will start on time Friday afternoon.

Good luck, and party on!
