Things are starting to really heat up on American Idol. With just a few weeks to go until the grand finale, AI is now down to the final ten. And two of those contenders happen to be Latino.

Devin Velez has been a fan favorite for weeks, impressing the judges and the viewers with his passionate vocals. He also has showcased a nice bit of Hispanic pride, adding a Spanish touch to Beyonce’s “Listen.”

Lazaro Arbos has become quite the sensation too. Once considered a long shot, he’s continued to improve with every episode and captured America’s heart by overcoming a debilitating stutter.

And beyond that, Lazaro has a very famous fan in his corner. (Watch Lazaro's Performance Last Week Above)

“Every time you get on the stage, you seem to have grown,” judge Mariah Carey told Arbos. “America is watching and they love you.”
