'Downton Abbey' Season 4: Lady Mary's Suitors To Be Played By Tom Cullen And Julian Ovenden

Matthew may be out of the picture, but Lady Mary won't be alone for long.

According to The Telegraph, two aristocrats will be visiting Downton in the beginning of Season 4. And as to be expected, they're not courting Edith.

Lady Mary's (Michelle Dockery) suitors will reportedly be played by actors Tom Cullen and Julian Ovenden, with both competing to help the mourning Mary to raise her newborn son.

The search for Lady Mary's new love interest hasn't been an easy one, though. Last month, the Daily Mail reported that Matthew's shoes were difficult ones to fill.

"Some were too dark, some too blond, some too bland -- though a couple have been put on a shortlist that the producers and creative people will discuss," a source said. "The main criteria for him is that he should be posh -- and pretty."
