"Twilight" actor Bronson Pelletier was sentenced to two years' probation after he pled "no contest" to a public intoxication charge earlier this week, reports TMZ.
The 26-year-old was arrested in December after airport police responded to a call about an unruly passenger on an airplane. When they arrived, they removed Pelletier from the plane as he was deemed too intoxicated to fly. The actor was allowed to sober up and take another flight, but not before police were called again when Pelletier peed by his new gate. The actor was then arrested for public intoxication, taken to jail and released shortly after.
According to TMZ, the actor who played a wolf in the "Twilight" series was sentenced to two years' probation, and he must attend 52 court-mandated AA meetings.
Pelletier had previously denied peeing at the airport -- a claim that was difficult to take seriously after footage of the entire incident was caught on camera.
Though Pelletier got off on the public intoxication charge with the expected slap on the wrist, a judge may not be so lenient if the actor is found guilty of the felony cocaine and meth possession charges brought against him on Dec. 8.
