Twitter Reacts To Don Francisco's Possible Retirement

Twitter Reacts To Possible Don Francisco Departure

After news came out that Don Francisco would have Chiquinquirá Delgado and Julián Gil co-hosting with him on the next 'Sábado Gigante', suspicions of possible retirement were brought up and Twitter immediately reacted.

The Chilean host has been an icon of Hispanic TV for over 50 years, and many have grown up watching him and all the beloved 'Sábado Gigante' characters. Yet a change might not be a bad idea.

Even though we wish he would, the 72-year-old host won't be Don Francisco forever. He said the three hour show has become taxing, reports Fox News Latino. With the growing Hispanic population in the U.S. it might be a smart move for Univision to rejuvenate the show and bring in a younger audience.

Comments on Twitter were mixed as some cried outrage, others liked the idea of the Venezuelan beauty helping out, and yet even some few learned something completely new about the famous host.

Check out how twitter reacted to the news in the slideshow below.
