Rock-a-bye, baby?

Three Port Charlotte, Fla., residents were arrested on Thursday after Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics, Street Crimes, and K9 Units raided a drug house, authorities said in a statement. Among the items seized -- a crack rock in a baby sock.

The search also found $3,126 in cash, a recently stolen .25 caliber handgun with seven rounds in the magazine, marijuana, cocaine, two digital scales with cocaine residue, a grinder with marijuana residue, three new AT&T cell phones still in the box valued at $2,300, 1,000 small plastic baggies and a homemade smoking pipe, according to police.

Rodney Dewayne Rogers, 42; Alisha Denise Herrmann, 22; and Joseph Alan Cmehil, 50, were transported to the Charlotte County Jail where they were each charged with possession of cocaine, possession of narcotics equipment and several additional charges.

According to the statement, Rogers and Herrman remain in jail on no bond due to prior felony convictions, while Cmehil posted a $4,500 bond and was released. The investigation is ongoing.
