'NCIS' Renewed: Mark Harmon Signs On For Season 11

'NCIS' Renewed For Season 11

"NCIS" has been renewed for a new season.

The naval procedural will return for an eleventh season. Series star Mark Harmon, who also serves as an executive producer on "NCIS," signed a new deal keeping him with the series for the 2013-2014 season.

"In a world gone niche, 'NCIS' keeps getting bigger, and Mark Harmon continues to define the role of leading man on the No. 1 show on television," Leslie Moonves, president and CEO of CBS Corporation, said in a statement. "'NCIS' is the type of franchise every company wants in today’s global content ecosystem -- high-quality storytelling that generates passionate viewers and drives revenue on every conceivable platform."

The series is currently the No. 1 show on TV -- ahead of Sunday Night Football -- and averages 21.5 million viewers, which is seven percent more than last season. Internationally, "NCIS" is licensed in more than 200 markets.

"NCIS" also stars Michael Weatherly, Cote de Pablo, Sean Murray, Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll, Brian Dietzen and David McCallum.
