'Teen Mom 2' Canceled? Fifth Season Of MTV Series In Question

The Future Of 'Teen Mom 2' In Question

The future of "Teen Mom 2" is in question at MTV. According to a report from the New York Post, MTV may pull the plug on the series that follows four young moms.

Sources told the NY Post the decision to end the series after Season 4 -- the show is currently airing its third season -- comes after months of series star Jenelle Evans' very public erratic behavior.

Evans recently got pregnant again, got married, had a miscarriage and then demanded a divorce on Twitter.

MTV said so far, only plans for Season 4 are in place.

"No decision has been made yet regarding a fifth season of 'Teen Mom 2,' but the network is planning to air the fourth season this year and will announce the premiere date soon," MTV said in a statement.

If this is the end for "Teen Mom 2," fans of the MTV reality franchise can still partake in "Teen Mom 3." No premiere date for the latest "Teen Mom" series has been announced.

"Teen Mom 2" airs Mondays, 10 p.m. EST on MTV.
