LA Car Chase Video: Televised Inglewood Police Chase Gets Real For One Viewer (VIDEO)

WATCH: Police Chase Gets REAL!

Plenty of people around Los Angeles were watching a car chase in Inglewood last night safely on their televisions, but for one viewer, things got up close and personal in a hurry.

YouTube user Jason Lee posted a video of his television screen carrying live coverage of the chase Sunday night. Soon after he starts filming, however, the volume of the sirens increases and it becomes clear that Lee is quite close to the action.

During the pursuit, which began around 11 p.m. and lasted for two hours, the driver displayed gang signs out the window directed at police and news cameras, according to KTLA. The station also reported that the man, whose name was not released, was eventually arrested after police used spike strips to flatten one of his tires. He also reportedly had a number of weapons in the car.
