Harley Morenstein is a burly, former high school teacher, but you likely know him better as the foul-mouthed host of "Epic Meal Time," a YouTube series that chronicles the creation of ever more-caloric dishes of questionable taste.

On Monday, Morenstein conducted an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit, during which he spilled several interesting facts about the show and himself, all with his now-internet-famous swagger.

For instance, filming an episode of "Epic Meal Time" isn't cheap. Morenstein revealed that last year's Thanksgiving episode, in which he and his team made a "Turbaconepicentipede," cost $5,000 to stuff 10 pigs with 50 birds (and a heck of a lot of stuffing and bacon, too) and "attach them all ass to mouth and garnish them with Baconators."

Morenstein also explained what we already knew -- that "Epic Meal Time" isn't exactly great for the waistline. At one point after the series began, Morenstein said he'd gained about 35 to 40 pounds. His weight has now leveled out to about 15 to 20 pounds more than when he'd started the show. On the upside, his gut is large enough for a name: Balthazar.

In addition, the noted bacon-lover revealed that he believes McDonald's has the worst bacon of all fast food chains, his favorite foods are pizza and hamburgers and a man "[offered] me his girlfriend for a night after a live show once." He turned down the gesture.

We suggest you read the full AMA to learn more about Morenstein and what goes on behind the scenes of "Epic Meal Time."
