Floyd Logan Wanted For Allegedly Killing 16-Month-Old Daughter Waaliyah Brown

Manhunt For Dad Suspected Of Killing His 16-Month-Old Child

Cops are hunting for a Virginia Dad who allegedly killed his 16-month-old daughter while the girl's mother was away.

Police say 35-year-old Floyd Logan IV -- who has a rap sheet that includes aggravated battery and cocaine possession -- took baby Waaliyah Brown's life on Aug. 15 and then fled, according to WAVY.

Officers found the toddler unresponsive at her home in Chesapeake, and this week classified her death as a homicide.

Logan is wanted on charges of first-degree murder and child abuse.

The girl's mother and Logan's girlfriend, Kiba Brown, posted a "Justice for Waaliyah" sign outside her home. She told a WAVY reporter that she wants Logan to hand himself over to cops.

"I'm never going to be the same," she said before directing a plea to Logan. "Being a father, if you had any type of feeling for her, give her your peace and just turn yourself in."

Though multiple autopsies have been performed on the girl over several months, the nature of her death hasn't yet been released, WTKR reports.

Logan has various charges under his belt in Florida, where he's been convicted of cocaine possession, battery and aggravated domestic battery.
