Happy Birthday Raven Symone!
The former child star turns 27 years old today, and that has us feeling really old. It seems like just yesterday we were watching her as the ever-precocious Olivia on "The Cosby Show."
The actress has been working since the age of three and appeared on several TV series before landing her own Disney Channel show, "That's So Raven," which ran from 2003 until 2007.
In addition to her television and film career, Symone is also a singer and has released four albums since 1993. In 2011, Symone returned to TV again, starring in the short-lived ABC Family series "State of Georgia." In 2012, the actress made her Broadway debut in "Sister Act" playing Deloris van Cartier, a role made famous by Whoopi Goldberg in the 1992 film on which the musical is based.
In recent years, Symone has made headlines for her impressive weight loss, as well as rumors about her sexual orientation. In May 2012, the actress took to Twitter to address rumors she's a lesbian:
"I'm living my PERSONAL life the way I'm happiest," she tweeted. "I'm not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I'm dating. and I shall not start now. My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life."
Check out Raven-Symone over the years:
