Are Your 2013 Goals Bold Enough?

As the year is ending, many of us will take the time to reflect on where we have been this year and where we would like to go. But are we daring enough to envision a "Big Goal?" Or is it something that we know is just within our reach? Are we coming from a larger idea of who we are and what we can accomplish? Or are we thinking business as usual?

The world needs more leaders and each of us needs to step out in a bigger way -- we have the talent and skills to do that.

The time for personal change is NOW. You know what that is for you, but in case your resistance is up, ask yourself these questions:

How can I change things for the better?

What do I need to create that I haven't yet?

What relationships could I cultivate that I may think are beyond my reach?

Don't listen to your negative mind-talk. It wants to keep you small and stuck. Listen to the leanings of your heart.

Next steps:

Declare you bold goal to someone who honors you.

Say it out loud and map out a plan to get there.

If you start to feel uncomfortable, know that you are going in the right direction-outside your comfort zone.

GROWTH FEELS UNCOMFORTABLE!
