Colbert: The Problem With Exorcisms Of Gay Teens Is That They Put Gay Demons On The Loose (VIDEO)

A Connecticut pastor created a stir this week after a video of her performing an exorcism on a gay teen hit YouTube. Pastor Patricia McKinney of Connecticut's Manifested Glory Ministries then went on CNN to "let the world know out there that Manifested Glories Ministries is not against homosexuality. We do not hate them. We do not come up against them. We just do not believe in their lifestyle." And to explain that her church believes in different kinds of spirits: "You have the alcohol spirit. You have the crack cocaine spirit. You have the adulterous spirit. Everything carries a spirit." McKinney claims the exorcism worked and the young man is no longer gay.

This was all too much for Colbert to pass up, so last night he explained that he whole-heartedly supports exorcisms except in cases when they release gay demons into the atmosphere to prey on unsuspecting heterosexual Christians. He is prepared, however, to ward off this "gaytergeist," with his signed picture of Charlie Sheen and Wilt Chamberlain biography.
