Another year has passed in college football, and barring a complete apocalyptic catastrophe, the winner of Georgia-Alabama on Saturday night in the Georgia Dome will secure the right to play Notre Dame for the national championship on Jan. 7. The SEC, which has the most teams ranked in the AP, USA Today and Harris Interactive Polls in the country with six, has never featured a title game between Georgia and 'Bama since its 1991 inception.
