Colbert Calls Obama A Murderer; Holds Memorial For Fly Killed In White House (VIDEO)

Stephen Colbert opened his show last night by showing a clip of a CNBC interview with Obama in which the president said:

"I've got one television station that is entirely devoted to attacking my administration...That's a pretty big megaphone. You'd be hard pressed if you watched the entire day to find a positive story about me on that front."

Instead of understanding that this was an obvious shot at Fox News, Colbert assumed the president was talking about him. In response he chose to give Obama his first positive coverage on the "Colbert Report" since taking office. Colbert lauded him for the now famous footage of the president swatting a fly with Karate-Kid-like dexterity.

The honeymoon didn't last long though. In the second segment of the night Colbert called Obama a murderer for his fly-killing and interviewed the widow. It's probably the first time he has sided with PETA.
