Monday

Check out the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's new tea bar concept in Manhattan Beach, which debuts today. The menu features premium whole leaf teas from around the world, and beverages (any size) today are only $1 from noon to 4 p.m. Proceeds from those sales go to the Roundhouse Aquarium (1590 Rosecrans Ave., Suite T; 310-536-0045).

Tuesday

Los Angeles bartenders are throwing their support for East Coast victims of Hurricane Sandy with tonight's LA Loves NY event in the R&D room at Harvard & Stone. The fundraiser's theme is "By Bartenders, for Bartenders," so all proceeds will benefit the New York chapter of the United States Bartender's Guild. The city's top mixers will be there, including Neat Bar's Cari Hah, Drago Centro's Jaymee Mandeville, Providence's Zahra Bates and The Churchill's Mia Sarazen. Expect booze, boozy silent auction items and cute not-so-boozy LA Loves NY t-shirts (5221 Hollywood Blvd.; 323-466-6063).

Wednesday

In other Sandy Relief news, eat the yellowtail carpaccio and drink the Fusion Shot at Koi throughout the month, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the American Red Cross for Sandy response via the restaurant's charitable foundation, Just a Little. Good through November 30 (730 N. La Cienega Blvd.; 310-659-9449).

Thursday

Gobble gobble! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Be thankful for your health, family, friends and food on the table. And that you don't have to cook if you don't want to -- here is a slew of dining or take-out options across LA.

Friday

In case you're already sick of turkey, or you just want to have lunch out of the house because you don't have to work today, Culver City's City Tavern has a special lunch deal -- get your choice of burger or sandwich, one side, and a non-alcoholic drink or a six-ounce beer for only $14. Check out the full lunch menu here. The deal is good from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday (9739 Culver Blvd.; 310-838-9739).

Saturday

We're big fans of weekend happy hours. Stop by Tinga for $3 bites today or any day during the week for the Rush Hour menu from 4-7 p.m. The entire menu is $3, including the chicken tinga tacos, the addictive arroz con crema, the churros, and the Dirty Horchata (142 South La Brea Ave.; 323-954-9566).

Sunday

Gordon Ramsay at the London (sans Gordon Ramsay) is taking a new direction with a new small plates menu, updated uniforms, less formal service and a "more upbeat" atmosphere. Chef Anthony Keen's new menu features things like warm radicchio salad with blue cheese and apples, ricotta gnocchi with truffle and green cabbage sauce, and risotto with butternut squash and mushrooms. There's also a new bar menu with a Grafton cheddar burger, pizzettes and a charcuterie platter (1020 N. San Vicente Blvd.; 310-358-7788).
