WASHINGTON -- "Twilight" fans are ready for the final film of the series. D.C. area theaters are well aware of the mania that's about to descend on them this weekend. Regal Gallery Place Stadium 14 has twenty screenings scheduled for Friday, November 16. AMC Loews Georgetown 14 falls slightly behind with only sixteen screenings of the fourth and final film in the series.

For the committed fan or desperate individual that wants to absorb all of the "Twilight" franchise in one sitting, all ten hours and twenty-one minutes of the sci-fi/fantasy/action/adventure/romance series is being projected on the big screen.

Regal Gallery Place Stadium 14 is screening all four films Thursday. For $20 without a Regal Card or $15 with the card, you can join the 92 people who have already bought tickets to the marathon. For a few dollars more you're guaranteed a seat for the 10 p.m. premiere. The Regal has set aside a separate theater for the marathon ticket holders. Their 10 p.m. regular screening has already sold out. The 10:30 had a few remaining seats as of Thursday at noon. A 10:01 p.m. show has also been added.

The AMC Loews Georgetown 14 is also in the midst of the marathon. For $35, any vampire, werewolf or regular human can join the thirty or so devotees to watch the remaining three films. This includes the premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" at 10 p.m. on Thursday.
