FLASHBACK FRIDAY: Joseph Gordon-Levitt In His Adorable Early TV Years

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who stars in the new, critically-acclaimed film "Lincoln," has been appearing on screen for two decades straight ... and he's only 31.

Many of Gordon-Levitt's early years were spent on popular TV shows including, "Roseanne" and "Family Ties," and in honor of Flashback Friday, you can watch his adorable face on those shows and more below!

In 1988, Gordon-Levitt appeared in two episodes of "Family Ties" as Dougie, a kindergarten friend of the youngest Keaton, Andrew (Brian Bonsall).

A couple of years later, in 1991, he joined the TV adaptation of "Dark Shadows" and stayed on the NBC series for 11 episodes until its cancellation. Gordon-Levitt played both Daniel Collins and his modern day descendant David. Watch him do his best screaming below.

And finally, we have Gordon-Levitt's four-episode stint on "Roseanne," where he grew up in front of audiences' eyes. In 1993, he played George, the Conners' neighbor and DJ's (Michael Fishman) very boring friend.

Just a few years later, the young actor got his big break on "3rd Rock From The Sun" and now, he's a Golden Globe-nominated actor, getting major roles in indie films and epic blockbusters alike.
