I had the special honor of being a guest with Lian Dolan for a Chaos Chronicles Special Edition Podcast Mom-In-Chief: The Closet Interview. If you haven't already listened to the Satellite Sisters radio show or the Chaos Chronicles podcasts, you're in for a treat.

Click on the link below to listen to our lively and informative conversation about discovering your leadership style or "Mom Mode", how leadership can help revive you even when you're flat out exhausted, and how leadership helps you to rise above the relentless demands of parenting.

For those of you who aren't already hooked on Lian's Chaos Chronicles podcasts, here's a little background about Lian Dolan who also happens to be my very funny and accomplished sister-in-law.

For the last decade, Lian has been a Satellite Sister. Satellite Sisters is an award-winning talk show, blog, and website that Lian created with her four real sisters. Satellite Sisters has won 8 Gracie Allen Awards for Excellence in Women's Media, including Talk Show of the Year in 2006. On air, Lian has interviewed everybody from Bill Clinton to Nora Roberts to Maya Angelou. She has used the airwaves to give voice to the issues important to mothers everywhere, as a veteran of the mommy wars, the homework wars, the turn-off-the-TV wars and a new inductee into the Star Wars fan club.

Lian is the co-author of Satellite Sisters UnCommon Senses, published in 2001. Her writing has been featured in many national magazines including regular columns in O, The Oprah Magazine and Working Mother ( "The Chaos Chronicles"). Her essays have also appeared in several anthologies, including "Chicken Soup for the Sister's Soul" and "Over the Hill and Between the Sheets: Love, Sex and Lust in Middle Age". She has appeared numerous TV shows including The Today Show, CBS Sunday Morning and The Oprah Winfrey Show.
