Military Trampoline Dunk Fail: Soldier Rips Net, Causes Delay In Magic-Suns Game (VIDEO)

WATCH: Military Trampoline Dunk Fail

Perhaps we should leave the trampoline dunking to the mascots.

The stunt often performed by the team mascot went awry on Sunday when Orlando's Stuff the Magic Dragon stepped aside to allow members of the U.S. military try the trick between the first and second quarters. One of the soldiers didn't quite jump far enough and not only missed the dunk, but ripped part of the net as well.

According to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel, the game was delayed for 13 minutes.

Based on the post-delay results, the stoppage may have benefited the Magic defensively. The Suns scored 33 in the first quarter, but were held to 23 or less in each of the next three.

Orlando went on to beat Phoenix 115-94.
