David Lee To Blake Griffin: 'Stop Flopping' (VIDEO)

'Stop Flopping!'

The NBA has instituted a new flopping rule. And Golden State Warriors forward David Lee intends to enforce it.

Lee got fed up with Clippers superstar Blake Griffin apparently embellishing contact late in Golden State's win over the Clippers on Saturday and decided to confront him directly.

Jamal Crawford had cut the Warriors' lead to 99-91 with a 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter when Lee and Griffin battled for position down low for a potential rebound. Lee gave him a light shove from behind and Griffin seemed to exaggerate the contact. The dunking machine then bumped Lee after the play.

That's when Lee went right back at Griffin and appeared to yell, "stop flopping!"

The officials immediately separated the two and called a double technical foul.

Lee is hardly the first player to call out Griffin for flopping. Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins called Griffin "an actor" after a much more egregious flop in a game last season. Later in the season, TNT's Chris Webber went on a rant about Griffin's flopping and warned him that "you do not get respect."

When the NBA announced its new anti-flopping rule, Griffin voiced his displeasure calling it a new way for the league to make money.

Will Griffin be the first to pay up for a flop this season?
